have a 98 Dodge Carvan w/front disk rear drum Have had a HARD pedal for some time. Brakes work fine just have to push harder than normal. 3 different shops can find no problem. New front pads rear shoes & wheel cylinders within the past 6k miles Have bled the system twice myself. Not loosing fluid, no leaks, no air in system. last mechanic said he believed that replacing the master cylinder would solve the problem.
Any thoughts?

I would believe that it is master cylinder, I think they are cheap at the parts stores like $20 something but not sure.
