Hello to all. I live in Chattanooga and my 69 Charger was purchased from Tait's Huntsville Dodge. I just got my car back from the body and paint folks and discovered that the two screw holes in the center rear of the trunk lid where the Tait's Huntsville Dodge name plate was attached were not filled in. So I have two screw holes that I need to cover or reuse. The original name plate was a aluminum strip with the words Taits Huntsville Dodge printed on it. Not too nice looking. Its a little over 6 inches in length and maybe 3/4-1" wide and was attached with two little screws at each end. I found a nice diecast emblem on ebay that was apparently used later by Taits and ordered it. It's approximately 6-1/4 inches long and 3/4-1" wide. Nice piece and attaches with double sided tape. It would cover the holes perfectly and look good. Only problem is that the diecast emblem has some defects in it I would assume from being in the elements for many years. Would anyone happen to have a nice one of these emblems and if so could you spare it. I need a good one and would be happy to pay for it. Let me know.
